Diagram: boat position vs mangrove overhang
MANGROVE POSITIONING DIAGRAM NEEDED
- 1
Find the spot
Look for mangrove shoreline with overhang, shade, and moving water. Bait flicking near the edge is a strong clue.
- 2
Position the boat
Hold well offshore in navigable water. You want casting range to the overhang — not contact with roots or branches.
- 3
Make the cast
Skip or soft-land under the canopy. Work the lure along the shaded edge; avoid burying casts deep into the trees.
