Fishing License & Regulations

Visiting anglers age 16+ on a private rental boat generally need a Florida saltwater fishing license unless an FWC exemption applies. An out-of-state license does not count. Catch-and-release still requires a license.

• Nonresident 3-day: $17
• Nonresident 7-day: $30
• Nonresident annual: $47
• Snook permit: $10
• Spiny lobster permit: $5
