Customer cancellation

48 hours or more before departure: full refund to the original payment method.

Less than 48 hours before departure: non-refundable. MotorBoatin may permit a reschedule or trip credit at its discretion and subject to availability, but this is not guaranteed.

No-show: non-refundable.

Weather & safe operating conditions

Florida weather can change quickly. Cloud cover, scattered showers, a chance of rain or less-than-perfect weather do not automatically make a rental eligible for cancellation or refund.

MotorBoatin Co monitors local and marine conditions and makes the final determination whether conditions are safe for our boats to operate.

Conditions that may cause MotorBoatin to delay, reschedule or cancel a rental include thunderstorms or lightning, hazardous winds, poor visibility, tropical weather, applicable National Weather Service marine advisories, or other conditions that MotorBoatin determines would make operation unsafe.

If MotorBoatin cancels your rental before departure because conditions are unsafe, you may choose to reschedule, receive a trip credit, or receive a full refund of the affected rental amount.

If MotorBoatin directs a boat to return early because conditions become unsafe after departure, MotorBoatin will provide an appropriate prorated trip credit for the unused portion of the rental.

A customer who voluntarily chooses not to depart, or voluntarily returns early while MotorBoatin has determined that conditions remain safe for operation, is subject to the normal cancellation policy.

If MotorBoatin must cancel because of a mechanical, fleet or other operational problem on our side, the customer may reschedule or receive a full refund.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. The time for a refund to appear is controlled by the customer's bank or card issuer after MotorBoatin processes it.

If MotorBoatin suspends operations because of a named tropical system, official closure, evacuation, or other emergency condition affecting the rental area, affected customers will be offered rescheduling, trip credit or a refund.
